The problem with the film is they tried to murge to hugh books together The Vampire Lestat and Queen And The Damned and you really can't get all that info into a single movie.

On a plus point they are now making the 4th novel Tale Of The Body Theif into a movie and hopefully this one will turn out a lot better. Espically as it is one of my fav in the series.

I actully really don't like the Queen Of The Damned novel, it along with book 5 are to me the worse in the series.

I actully liked the film as a stand alone movie but it didn't deserve to be called part of the Vampire Chronicals mainly as the guy was no Lestat in any shape or form it made me sad.
