Timo crept slowly into the room where David was sitting, headphones on, eyes glued to the computer screen. It had been four hours since anyone had heard a peep out of David and Timo knew the over worked face when he saw it on his boyfriend. The problem with David was he was the most workaholic of them all, and, given some of the personalities in the band, that was saying something indeed.
It was doubtful David would notice him even if he stomped into the room with a twelve piece marching band given the frown of concentration between David's eyebrows, but Timo was taking no chances. He moved around behind David almost silently and very carefully put what he was carrying down onto the little table behind where David was sitting. Next he moved in close, close enough so David would eventually notice his body heat even without being touched and waited.
It took David a full minute to twitch away from the computer screen where he was mixing sound for the latest track and Timo saw it the moment he was at least peripherally noticed. That was when he moved, leaning forward so his chest touched David's back and using one finger to move David's hair out of the way, so he could place a kiss on David's neck. The little noise of pleasure David made at that contact was more than worth the wait.
"Hey," David said, pulling off the headphones, twisting in his chair and giving Timo the biggest smile.
"Hey yourself," Timo replied with an answering smile and kissed his boyfriend on the nose. "You forgot lunch again."
At which point he reached over to the table and picked up the sandwich and steaming mug of tea he had brought with him.
"What would I do without you?" David asked, and accepted both offerings with a grateful smile.
"Die of starvation," Timo replied with a roll of his eyes, "or sexual frustration," he added with a grin.
That made David laugh out loud, almost spilling the tea everywhere, but luckily Timo rescued it. David was so delightfully ditzy after being buried in music for any length of time.
"Well I think the first is the more urgent issue at the moment," David said, taking a huge bite of the sandwich Timo had provided, "bu' we c'n wor' 'n th' other later."
Timo laughed, David never had been good at talking around food.
"I'll take you up on that," he said and handed David back his tea, "but maybe not here, because last time Linke walked in on us he bitched about us making him horny for hours."
David just grinned around the sandwich with an evil glint in his eyes and Timo decided that sooner or later they were going to have to invest in a therapist for the rest of the band. Jan had almost taken to walking into rooms with his hand over his eyes and asking if he could look and Franky sent other people in first. It wasn't his and David's faults though, Timo was sure, they were young and in love with a very large side helping of lust. They had taken the step from friends to more than friends purely by accident when sharing a bed due to a party and a one night overpopulation problem in the house. The compromising position they had woken up in had led from one thing to another and suddenly they had discovered what they had been missing.
Now they couldn't keep their hands off each other and that was that, and, after three weeks, the rest of the band were beginning to adapt. None of them were in a padded cell yet, which had to be a good sign.
