Date: 2012-01-24 12:50 pm (UTC)I think there is a great difference between the classics and modern lit!fic. The problem I have with the classics is they're all lumped in together because they're old and I can't bear some and love others.
The thing that really annoys me, however, is that lit!fic is usually given all the accolades and genre fiction is dismissed when I find the second a whole lot more entertaining and some of it is superbly put together.
