Author's Notes: Loved the movie, thought it was absolutely brilliant and this started out as a one scene PWP about the power dynamic between Charles and Erik. However, then I wondered what Charles would do given a second chance where he had seen all his faults and Erik's starkly laid out and was then returned to before all the bad happened. This is what happened when I started typing. Thanks to Soph for the beta.
