The Avebury Legacy by Natasha Duncan-Drake

When you're a vampire hunter infected with vampirism your life expectancy is short. Nate's a hunter and Lexie's a witch and they have less than six months before Lexie's magic can no longer delay the symptoms and keep them at least partially human.

Firstly, in hopes of rounding up a few reviews I'm offering anyone who reviews The Avebury Legacy in a fair and honest manner a copy of The Beginning (Vampires: The New Age, Prequel #1) absolutely free.

Dear all knowing flist, I was wondering if you could recommend me some book review blogs. I'm looking to submit my latest two books for review and I have been Googling and looking around, but I find personal recommendations can be much more helpful. I have a few potentials I think I shall send to from my Googling, but if there are any you think are great, I would be most grateful for links, please.

Both books are eBook format only and of course they come under indie/self pub. It has been most frustrating getting to the small print on some site to find it saying no indies, although I can understand why :).

The first book I'm looking to submit is Advent. This is a vampire novel and I'd say it's late teen into adult crossover. No teen romance in this one. Nasty vamps, hard arsed vampire hunters, some magic and a struggle for survival. There are a couple of fade to black sex scenes, but nothing explicit.

The second is Forbidden Soul which is a vampire novella and comes under paranormal, gay romance/erotica.

Hypothetically speaking, if I was to organise a book day thingy for my latest novel "Advent" (vampires, vampire hunters etc) in the near future (probably a Sunday) would anyone be interested. There would be free stuff and money off vouchers for the book and signed eBook covers for anyone interested (a la this method) and general chat and stuff that I have yet to decide on (probably a give away of some kind).

I would run it on my blog over here: Tasha's Thinkings because that has the most ways of being able to comment and is the least cluttered with my usual ravings :). You can comment using your LJ account or OpenID or just plain putting in your name and gmail addie, so basically any way you want.

Yes/No/Maybe?

I've redone the cover of Advent to appeal a little more to the YA vampire readers.

Meet Nate, my lead character. He's a lot prettier than Dahlia who was on the cover before ;).

My new novel is out today. The price is too high on Amazon UK at the moment, but that will be rectified as soon as Amazon KDP let me edit it (hopefully today) - if you are in the UK I suggest you buy it from Smashwords until then. (It's because UK eBooks have VAT on them).

There are no Twilight style vamps in this novel, the vampires are nasty, but there is a little romance a lot of action and plenty of fangs.

Conflict enveloped him in less time that it took for a normal human heart to beat. Part of his mind screamed that Lexie's reaction was a warning and he was close to the edge. Another part enjoyed the fear he could see in her eyes. His rational brain told him that this woman was his friend and sometimes lover; his vampire instincts told him this thing before him was a shell of a human being fit only to be slaughtered.

"Nate," Lexie's voice would have been steady to a normal ear, but to Nate's acute hearing the slight quaver was obvious, "you're scaring me."

"Really? I'm so sorry." But he wasn't, not in the slightest and he smiled at her.

"Oh crap, fangs," Lexie said, the fear was evident in her voice.

She took another step backwards.
